I don’t have a green thumb, but I do enjoy the beauty of all flowers. I can’t remember many flower names, but I do know what natural beauty draws me in. If I spot compelling colors, I try to take a photo or note the combination.
For this painting, I was inspired after spending time in downtown Santa Barbara, CA where flowers are abundant.
